Finance Accountancy and Business Careers - April Issue Moving On

The April issue of Moving On magazine will be arriving hot off the press in your school, college or sixth form centre next week and it is jam-packed with careers and qualification information relating finance accountancy and business careers and much more besides.

The April issue is the first issue of Moving On designed by our new designer, Tom who himself has provided a bit of advice for aspiring graphic designers in the form of a top tips blog.

If you are interested in a career in business, we’ve got a great interview with Petra Wilton, Director of Strategy at the Chartered Management Institute, all about the new Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship and if it’s a business admin role that you’re thinking about we’ve got some information on the skills and qualifications that you will need to succeed.

We’ve also got a feature on four key job roles within the retail chain – retail buyer, warehouse manager, LGV driver and retail department manager.

If it’s law that you’re loving at school or college then you might be interested in our article on becoming a criminal intelligence analyst as well as details on how you can become a lawyer without going to university.

We know that some of you want to get straight out to work after you’ve finished school, so we’ve got plenty of information on entry level roles in finance as well as the low-down on what a stockbroker, forensic accountant, retail banker and chartered accountant does.

As if all of that isn’t enough, we’ve also got features on careers in sport, the new workplace pensions apprenticeship, qualifications for the hospitality industry, how volunteering, travel and learning another language can boost your job prospects and an interview with the 2016 Apprentice Award winners.

So, keep a watch for the postie because you don’t want to miss this issue! And if you want to access the magazine online, you’ll be able to by visiting http://movingonmagazine.co.uk/category/magazine/.
