THIS EVENT IS CPD CERTIFIED
The seminar follows the National Audit Office report and select committee inquiry on apprenticeships, which both called for a greater focus on quality and the outcomes of provision.
Sessions consider the key priorities for the new Institute for Apprenticeships in this important area and the steps that can be taken to improve the Trailblazer process, as well as the future for Level 2 programmes.
Further discussion will consider the likely impact of the introduction of end-point assessment and the wider challenges for ensuring a rigorous system of assessment, including quality assurance.
The seminar will bring together policymakers with key stakeholders including representatives of employers and trade unions, FE colleges, independent training providers, awarding organisations, trade and professional associations, academics, and members of the national and trade press.
